On the back instructions for a more virtuous life.
"Waywardness invariably starts with night street walking"............! I thought by the time you were a street walker, waywardness was but a fond memory.........
So what happened that December, Earleigh? And what turned it around so that a C flanked by two B-'s became an unqualified A in April (despite a notable statistical slant towards truancy)?
And why did your teacher begin the year with writing peaked A's and then switch to rounded?
Posted by there but for the grace of something.I can't imagine what sort of behavior an A student such as the Earleigh could have displayed that would earn her a "C" in deportment. You were never ever late and always neat. Must have been the streetwalker within. Or maybe it was sweet, blond, blue eyed Diane causing you undue stress. I do love the way your mother singled it out, however. All those A's and the deportment get's it's own special note! Have a safe ride home. Will think of you at Ericksons.
Posted by chris.I was still home looking vapid at the time of this report card, but I was soon to enter St. Francis School, where I'm almost 100% sure that I got A's in the deportment department. And my sister, the bad seed, wonders why she was never the favorite.
Posted by Sweetness.Of course my other sister, bad seed 2, never even went to a school that started with St.
How could she be the current favorite?
