Brady is too cute. And such a trendy name. Our friends just named their son that. Jan must be thrilled. He'll be an adorable addition to the Christmas card. I wish my photo of Caroline's painting did it more justice...it's one of her best.
Posted by proudmom.Lovely puppy. Like an infant wooly mammoth or baby Tyrannosaur just out of its egg. 3 lbs. of dogfood a day will soon become Airstream trailers full in but a few months........ I wonder how the rest of "the boys" are taking this infusion of energy and diversion of attention...............
Striking artwork. I can barely make out the word "energy", which is certainly what radiates from the piece, though a calm form thereof. OTOH, the highlight technique hints at a double entendre of barbed wiore in the treeforms -- intentional?
Posted by dog lover.Great painting. What vibrant forms and colors.
Posted by loveartmore.I too am impressed and I find it amazing that the same brain can produce both this and the linked portraits. I wonder what is next? Oh, and I think that word might be cnyergy, an interpretative play on synergy, and that we are viewing the world created by the couple's relationship.
Posted by michael.Loved the barbed wire concept-clever. Energy is what it says, though the artist, playing coy by not responding herself to the comments which energized her to the point where she is closed in her room creating something new, liked the cynergy suggestion. I wonder what is next too:)
Posted by proudmom.Take it to Picture It Framed and have framed in silver and double matted. Hang it in your house and enjoy it, and when you no longer "see it," wrap it and give it as a present to an adoring aunt or a close friend or a guy who fixes things in your house or Mark's parents ... .

Posted by matt.Absolutely incredible painting, which caused me to connect-the-dots to the DVD spouse Linda, son Greg and I watched last night -- What the Bleep Do We Know (a must-see for any thinking person).
The connection: we create the world we live in with the energy of our thought.
Caroline, can I be put on the list of potential recipients after you tire of it? Better yet: can I go to the head of the list with an offer to purchase it?
