Carrizo Plain

From shinydome's son to shinydome to the blog. The Carrizo Plain which is between Bakersfield and Paso Robles.

No WAY.....!!! That's straight out of What Dreams May Come! Could any place be so simple and yet so grand? No Photoshop, really......? Damn, but that's somethin'! Thanks!

The blog wouldn't let me post my perfectly innocuous statements about this lovely scene. The blogmeister will have to intervene. It's a mystery to me.

I disabled html attempting to slow the four hundred or so spam bot emails a day. I'm not sure it makes a bit of difference, in fact, I'm now sure it does not. However, I have been unable, so far, to change it back.

What a scene! Must have been right after the rains. Never heard of Carrizo before, and I'm a "NSGW", born in CA and been about everyplace in the state, or so I thought. Now I have a new place to visit when I go to the left coast.

But here's the story about it:

(I hope there's no oil or natural gas there, or it's doomed.)
