Is Rennie nearby?

This week's damage:

New hard drive for Diane’s computer: $164.00 (yes, Chris, it truly seems to be DCR’s default solution to all intractable computer problems)

New main board for my printer: $250.00

New radio/CD player to replace the one that died in my truck: $254.00

Apple Care....priceless.

For life's wear-and-tear expenses, there's Master Card. Reading this is priceless .

(Chris, don't think Apple could Care much about computers this old).

Mike, before Murphy strikes again, time for a new (or at least previously-owned) G5 for you .

What are the odds our old G4 would wait to break down on you instead of us? AND that the all-but-brand-spanking new 2200 we gifted you for your assistance with our office would also depart this earth in your care. Mercury not even retrograde... Floors and toilets we can fix ourselves -- the silicon-based goes in for transplant surgery.
