It's 4 AM, I must be on my way to Evansville.

Thanks, Mike! A lot to ask in the press before hitting life's highway, to remember a friend's birthday. You da man.
And while I can imagine the brief, stressed selection process thus dictated, I still must ask what the chosen picture portends -- staring out from the shores of 45, I see a bleak and frozen wasteland ... ?

HB, Adam, you glass-half-empty person, you!
Posted by Fierce Baby.Sorry, raw not row.
Posted by Fierce Baby.I see a man in command. Regardless of the environment. I’m reminded of the many times on our Maine trips where you wade into the water, fully booted, to push off canoes, retrieve Frisbees, find suitable fire ring rocks. The rest of us worry about drying our gear: you just do it. Thus, for me, the picture is a follow me, physical presence statement.
Plus it’s a damn good photograph. The hint of orange adding just the right amount of color.
Posted by michael.I see a hesitancy in the photo. Feet planted one way, head turned another. And I guess I shouldn't say anything about the skirt over the pants (or the pants under the skirt)? That's ok, no one reads these a day late, anyway.
