Aah, a Gaudí balcony, and his ever-seeking-completion Sagrada Familia looming in the distance, cranes in attendance ... Magical! An artful crop of an artful shot, and a nice entrance into the scene, to go from intimate myopia to confounding breadth. Can't wait for what follows!

Hard not to be drawn in, such lyrical, imaginative, unique work. Prolific as he was, though, his opus magnus remains unfinished -- hard to say whether the legacy of that incomplete masterwork (the Sagrada Familia) was a gift or a curse, though. Bit by bit his acolytes inch towards resolution as funds and time permit, hoping the master's hands guide them, as he left no complete instructions ...

Even I, architectural philistine of the first water,
know about Gaudi (via Katie). Here is one of her pictures of a Gaudi building.

What would we do without Adam's erudite and prolific nature to fill in where Michael is beautiful but sparse?
