Twilight
Polar Bear Mike doing his mind-over-matter best to retard the laws of physics and spend a few more minutes in his chosen element. There'll be no pictures, but he did this under the unmuted stars as well 2 of 3 nights. I followed him twice by day was but witness to the dark daring.

Posted by michael.Perhaps "adamantly refuses" could have more accurately been replaced with "waffles pitifully about whether" ... It was enough for me this time that I managed the second dip, but Mike's right -- I truly wanted to manage a night immersion. Or at least wanted to want to. Or wanted to be able to say I had. Or was wanting ...
