Susan called near dinner time to say she'd made it to Chicago. The pet-friendly hotel had a special cocktail hour for dogs and I guess Wex and Duffy needed to be carried back to their rooms.
One day in WActon next day Chicago. That is something, with two pups in tow. And in time for Happy Hour. She'll get to Torroemore in time for Happy hour too. Happiness all around.
Posted by la Rad.Too many Dogaritas, huh, Wex ... ? I hope your owner -- presumably the DD -- stayed in fair shape.
Safe journey, Susan!
Posted by adam. Thanks for the kind words and thoughts re our journey home to Torroemore (safely completed a few hours ago) and our stay in WActon.
Unless one had experienced both, one would never believe how great the difference between The Green Roof Inn in Girard, PA, and The Burnham Hotel in Chicago, IL -- pet-friendly hostelries both. Two different worlds altogether. Amazing!
Posted by FierceBaby.Paxie is now asking to visit Chicago.
She also sends kisses to Wex and Duffy, and thank-yous for her lovely new diamond-studded red collar.
